ASVI seeks to ensure that children with vision loss develop their full capabilities
by facilitating the training of educators and parents so they may provide optimal
support, guidance and expertise necessary.
ASVI seeks to ensure that professionals working with children with vision loss
are properly trained and have access to regular professional training through their
school, school board, CNIB, ASVI or other agency. Therefore ASVI in partnership with
Alberta Education offers bursaries.

Do you live outside Calgary?
Any aide, teacher or other educator working with a student with vision loss anywhere in
Southern Alberta is welcome to apply for bursary funding.
